stylish stay with a few minor hiccups

stylish double delicious dinner helpful staff relaxing atmosphere
I really enjoyed my beautiful double. It was stylish. dinner at bistro du vin was delicious. it was quiet on a sunday evening since the bistro was empty, i found that relaxing. the reception staff were very kind and helpful, a real plus!
i did find that parking was quite limited, accommodating only about 12 cars. this was a minor inconvenience, though the overall experience was still very positive.
Dining

bistro du vin serves dinner with delicious food. breakfast had lots of choices and everything tasted fresh. the bar offers a happy hour promotion. £30 credit if you skip room service. i really liked it.
Facilities

the building is beautiful and situated in a fantastic location. the hotel is undergoing a makeover, so new furniture is being installed. limited parking is available with space for about twelve cars though it can be tricky.
Service

staff members were consistently friendly and cute. the reception team and carlos at the bar provided excellent service. anne in the bistro offered superb service at dinner. the staff seemed genuinely attentive.
Location
10/10
the location is excellent, close to the harbour. the hotel is a few seconds from the harbourside. it is well-situated in the old town and near the promenade. the location was perfect! though the parking was expensive.
Rooms

the staff was friendly, and the location was fairly easy to find parking.
the shower didn't get very hot, a bit disappointing. i was on the ground floor, and it was noisier than i liked. there was also a slight damp smell in the room, which wasn't very nice.
